The cityscape of South Korea is so eclectic, a mixture of old and new. Have you heard of a town/small city called Daejeon? It’s just a couple hours ride from Seoul on the KTX train. A lot of my Korean friends say it’s a very boring town, yes its not as eventful as the bigger cities like Seoul or Busan but it still has a charm and was label a town of Science. Though small there are nice areas to walk through.

Spring in Daejeon is just as beautiful, so I wanted to capture the cherry blossoms. If you decide to visit, I recommend trying their bakeries, they have wonderful pastries for you to try. Of all my Korean landscape paintings, this was the first one I did featuring housing and apartment buildings. I painted this using Acrylic on Canvas, what do you think?!
